Who we are

Mojo's Bath House is a one-to-one dog grooming salon based in Longwick, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Mojo's Bath House is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

We may collect and hold the following information:

• Enquiry details. Your name, email address and telephone number, submitted through the enquiry form on our contact page or by emailing us directly.
• Information about your dog. Their name, breed, age, approximate weight, coat condition and current grooming routine.
• Welfare and handling information. Medical, mobility, skin or behavioural information you choose to share about your dog, including previous grooming experiences, veterinary restrictions and anything that helps us keep your dog safe and comfortable.
• Correspondence. Emails, messages and enquiry history so we can respond to you and keep an accurate record of what was agreed.
• Technical information. When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically processes limited technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type and basic server logs. This is used to serve the site securely and reliably.

Information about your dog is not personal data in itself, but because it is linked to you as the owner we treat it with the same care.

Please do not send us information you would not want us to hold. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details by email.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics software, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or profiling technology, and it does not set any non-essential cookies of its own. For that reason there is no cookie consent banner.

Two third-party services are used to make the site work, and each will receive your IP address and basic browser information when their content loads:

• Google Fonts — used to load the typefaces the site is set in.
• PawSuite — our enquiry form is provided by PawSuite and appears embedded in our contact page. Anything you submit through it is handled by PawSuite on our behalf, and PawSuite may set its own cookies within that form. Your submission is delivered into our Mojo's Bath House enquiry inbox.

If we ever add analytics or other non-essential tracking, this policy will be updated and appropriate consent will be requested first.

Why we use your information, and our lawful bases

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange appointments — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of that contract once you book.
• To groom your dog safely — our legitimate interests in animal welfare, your safety and ours, and providing a competent service.
• To keep accurate records of dogs we groom — our legitimate interests in running the business and providing continuity of care.
• To keep the website secure and available — our legitimate interests in protecting our systems.
• To meet legal or accounting obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not use your information for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Who we share information with

We share information only where it is necessary, and only with organisations that process it on our behalf or where we are required to do so:

• PawSuite, which provides and processes our online enquiry form.
• Our website hosting and email providers, which store and transmit the site and our correspondence.
• A veterinary practice, in an emergency affecting your dog's health or safety.
• Professional advisers, insurers or authorities where we are legally required or permitted to share information.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not lead to an appointment are normally kept for up to 12 months. Records of dogs we have groomed, including welfare and handling notes, are normally kept for up to 6 years after the last appointment so we have an accurate history and can meet accounting and insurance requirements. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

Keeping information secure

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including secure connections to this website, access-controlled accounts and limiting access to information to those who need it. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take the security of your information seriously.

International transfers

Our information is generally stored within the UK or the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes information outside the UK, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete information where there is no good reason for us to keep it;
• ask us to restrict how we use your information;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including any direct marketing;
• ask for your information to be transferred to you or another provider, where it was provided by you and is processed by automated means; and
• withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.

Complaints
