Dog Grooming Services Tailored to Your Dog

Every dog's coat, routine and comfort level is different. Mojo's Bath House offers personalised one-to-one grooming in a calm Longwick salon, with each service adapted to your dog's breed, coat condition, age, behaviour and lifestyle.

Rather than choosing a service based simply on breed or size, tell Amber a little about your dog and their current grooming routine. She can recommend the most suitable appointment and provide a personalised quote.

Full Groom — Standard Coats

For coats that need clipping, styling or intensive de-shedding, a full groom provides complete coat and hygiene care. Your dog's appointment includes a bath, blow-dry, thorough brush-out, de-shed where appropriate, nail trim, paw-pad trim, ear cleaning and coat styling agreed with you during consultation.

Most full grooms take around two to two-and-a-half hours, although larger dogs, nervous dogs and coats requiring additional work may need longer. Your dog's comfort always comes before the clock.

Full Groom — Smooth Coats

Smooth-haired dogs may not need a haircut, but they still benefit from regular professional grooming. This service includes a professional bath, blow-dry, brush-out, loose-hair removal, nail trim, paw-pad trim and ear cleaning.

Ideal for breeds such as Labradors, Pugs, French Bulldogs, Boxers and Staffies, helping remove loose coat and support healthy skin, nails and ears without clipping or styling.

Bath & Blow Dry

Ideal for a freshen-up between fuller appointments, after a muddy adventure or whenever your dog needs a thorough professional clean. The service includes a bath, blow-dry and complete brush-out, leaving the coat clean, comfortable and refreshed.

Maintenance Groom

A maintenance groom helps keep long, curly or easily tangled coats comfortable between full styling appointments. It includes bathing, blow-drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning and a tidy of the face, feet and hygiene areas without an all-over coat clip or restyle.

Regular maintenance appointments can make coat care more manageable at home and help prevent small tangles developing into uncomfortable matting.

Hand Stripping

Hand stripping removes dead outer hairs by hand to help preserve the natural texture and colour of suitable wire-haired and silky coats. The appointment includes traditional hand stripping together with a bath, blow-dry, nail trim and ear cleaning.

Amber will assess your dog's coat and comfort to determine whether hand stripping is the right option for them.

De-Shedding for Double Coats

A professional de-shedding groom removes loose, dead undercoat without shaving a healthy double coat. It can improve comfort, allow air to move through the coat and considerably reduce the amount of loose hair around your home.

The service and recommended grooming interval will be tailored to your dog's breed, season and coat condition.

Smooth-coated dogs still need regular care — read why short-haired dogs need grooming, or see how often your dog should be groomed before asking about a regular schedule.

How your groom is quoted

Every groom is quoted individually according to your dog, the service chosen, their coat condition and the work required. Please share accurate information when enquiring so Amber can recommend the right appointment and give you a personalised quote.

Most full grooms take around two to two-and-a-half hours, although your dog's wellbeing always sets the pace. If matting makes brushing uncomfortable, Amber will explain what she has found and agree a welfare-led plan with you before going ahead — see the FAQs for how matting is handled.

Shorter appointments and add-ons

Puppy Introduction Groom

A puppy's first experiences of grooming can influence how they feel about it for years to come. Puppy introduction appointments are designed around confidence rather than achieving a perfect finish, gradually introducing bathing, drying, brushing, nail care, grooming equipment and gentle handling in a calm environment.

What is completed will depend on what your puppy is comfortable managing on the day.

Nail Clipping & Flea Care

Nail clipping is available as a standalone service. Flea bathing may also be available alongside a suitable grooming appointment.

If you know or suspect that your dog has fleas, please contact Amber before arriving so she can advise you and protect the salon and other dogs.

Luxury Spa Treatments

Optional spa treatments can be added to suitable grooming appointments to give your dog a little extra coat, skin, paw or nose care. Options include Magic Mud treatments, deep-cleanse facial scrubs, ear cleansing and deodorising, Magic Paw Balm and Nose Balm.

Amber can recommend suitable additions based on your dog and their individual needs.

Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning

Silent, vibration-free emmi-pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning is available as a preventative oral-hygiene service for suitable dogs. Each dog has their own individual brush head and suitability is assessed before cleaning begins.

This is not veterinary dentistry and does not replace veterinary dental care. If there are signs of pain, inflammation or dental disease, Amber will recommend that you speak to your vet.

Which Groom Is Right for Your Dog?

You don't need to know exactly which service to choose before getting in touch. Tell Amber about your dog's breed, age, size, coat, current grooming routine and how they feel about being groomed. She can then recommend the most appropriate service and appointment schedule and provide a personalised quote.
